Who We Serve
The Individuals and Networks Hearo Serves
Our systems deliver independence for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral health concerns, hearing and vision impairment, and people seeking to age in place. Behind these individuals are case managers, families and guardians, provider agencies, and government agencies — all of which are crucial partners.
Our Primary End Users
-
Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
Hearo was built with I/DD individuals at its core. For years, we’ve provided remote support, environmental controls, and customizable reminders and alerts that empower people to live independently without full-time, in-person supervision or assistance with transitioning into this phase.
-
Hearing and Vision Impairment
Our gadgets and systems adapt to each person’s unique needs, offering visual and auditory accommodations alongside always-on connection to support staff and family.
-
Behavioral Health Concerns
Hearo provides consistent, continuous care through trusted local providers, giving individuals structure and support while preserving the personal space and autonomy that promotes emotional well-being.
-
Aging-in-Place Needs
Our remote support systems help let older adults stay in their own homes longer and out of nursing homes. Safety monitoring, caregiver connectivity, and environmental controls can reduce the need for full-time, in-home assistance or transitioning to assisted living facilities.
